holy crap, i learned a million new things painting this for some reason. i'm so thoroughly satisfied with it =D

this is my red mage in final fantasy xi. of course i picked the mithra face that 99% of other people who picked mithra picked, but i dont care, because i'm one of the 1% who wears a fungus hat. i do not have that armor; but at least now i can drool and pretend i do. hat = PIMP.

i am in love with this so much that i have submitted a detailed shot of it in my scraps here [link]

Update - now i do have that armor; all of it, including that glorious hat. ^^

nice painting job, everything really appeals to me except for the eyes, they seem sort of flat (colorwise)..needs some detail in the iris and normaly I would say a highlight in the pupil but that seems hard to work with...other than that great work! What program did you use btw?

you know, i actually thought the same thing not long after i uploaded this - "crap i didnt finish the eyes" hehe. after not looking at it for awhile i'm going to go back and make some alterations, (also i had so much fun with this i dont want it to be over =P) this is photoshop + tablet. thanks for the lovely comment =)

Rawr! Mithra power!! ^^ I love this, we seem to have odd timing I'm on my way to post a pic of my mithra too XD Not near as polished as your lovely art here though :(. Very nice job I really love the overall style!
