this is (most) of that thing i've been going on about for weeks. it's been neglected lately, but it's so close to being done i thought maybe submitting a work in progress might get me to actually finish it. ive tried things in this that i have no idea how to properly do, so critique away if you so choose. there are certain aspects that i will not alter, but suggestions are more than welcome.
ive never spent this much time on any one piece, so i might as well do it as right as i can.
EDIT: after some months have passed, this piece will remain unfinished. i want nothing to do with it anymore.
Oh wow... This grabbed my attention from the front page. I love the color scheme here! But there's one thing bothering me...how come the figure closest to us isn't as affected by the sun? But still, it's an awesome pic. Nice work!

I think it looks gorgous. The shading on each subject is brilliant. I love the blend of metallic shading for the figures and the roughness of the surroundings.
The only thing I find off is the hands on the middle figure seem a bit too large for the frame of it.
closest, closest... the one all the way at the bottom, lying down? if thats the one you mean, it's because i havent finished the lower portion of this yet if not, which figure, exactly? that'll be a moon eventually thank you for taking a look!
Wow. The background is wonderful. I'd be so totally proud of that if I were you. Though, yeah.. Why are the figures in the foreground lighted? Is there another source of light we aren't seeing?
